Our Goal is Your Total Satisfaction.
You can return your qualified purchase in its original unopened packaging to Burns Tools within 30 days of delivery date.
Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within two business days of receipt of merchandise.
All returns must have a return authorization code, which you can obtain by calling 508-675-0381.
Burns Power Tools Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise only in store only. Gift cards cannot be redeemed online or over the phone.
All Returned Merchandise Must Include the Following:
- Must be in new condition, in original box, with all original packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals, and all accessories.
- Original intact UPC barcode. Removal of the UPC code voids any possibility of the return request being honored.
- Original pick ticket.
Return Handling charges are equal to 10% off the total purchase price.
- Burns Tools is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise.
- RMA numbers are valid for 10 days.
You have the option to exchange your item(s). Please contact us at 1-508-675-0381 to do so. Exchanges are subject to return policy.
Refunds on returned items will be issued to the same payment form as tendered. Please allow 7-10 days for a credit to appear on your credit card statement.
If payment was made by check, the refund check will be issued after 10 business days from the date of purchase.

JPW Industries (Jet, Powermatic, Wilton Tools, Axiom Precision, Edwards Manufacturing, Baileigh Industrial) - Due to the cost involved in shipping/transporting these items, returns are excluded. Returns may be approved for return after you contact the manufacturer directly and speak with their technical support department. If JPW Industries (Jet, Powermatic, Wilton Tools, Axiom Precision, Edwards Manufacturing, Baileigh Industrial) are able to resolve the issue or have replacement parts sent, they will do so and they will not approve the item for return. SawStop - Due to the cost involved in shipping/transporting these items, returns are excluded. Returns may be approved for return after you contact the manufacturer directly and speak with their technical support department. If SawStop are able to resolve the issue or have replacement parts sent, they will do so and they will not approve the item for return. If the item is deemed to be defective and not repairable, SawStop will work with us to arrange the return of the defective item. SawStop Customer Service: 1-866-729-7867.
Maksiwa - Due to the cost involved in shipping/transporting these items, returns are excluded. Returns may be approved for return after you contact the manufacturer directly and speak with their technical support department. If Maksiwa are able to resolve the issue or have replacement parts sent, they will do so and they will not approve the item for return. Denray - Due to the cost involved in shipping/transporting these items, returns are excluded. Returns may be approved for return after you contact the manufacturer directly and speak with their technical support department. If Denray are able to resolve the issue or have replacement parts sent, they will do so and they will not approve the item for return. Returns may be approved for return after you contact the manufacturer directly and speak with their technical support department. If Laguna Tools are able to resolve the issue or have replacement parts sent, they will do so and they will not approve the item for return. Teknatool International Ltd (Teknatool, NOVA, DVR and Versaturn) - Due to the cost involved in shipping/transporting these items, returns are excluded. Returns may be approved for return after you contact the manufacturer directly and speak with their technical support department. If Teknatool International Ltd (Teknatool, NOVA, DVR and Versaturn) are able to resolve the issue or have replacement parts sent, they will do so and they will not approve the item for return. If the item is deemed to be defective and not repairable, Teknatool International Ltd will work with us to arrange the return of the defective item. Grizzly Industrial, Inc. (Grizzly, Shop Fox) - Due to the cost involved in shipping/transporting these items, returns are excluded. Returns may be approved for return after you contact the manufacturer directly and speak with their technical support department. If Grizzly Industrial, Inc. (Grizzly, Shop Fox) are able to resolve the issue or have replacement parts sent, they will do so and they will not approve the item for return. If the item is deemed to be defective and not repairable, Grizzly Industrial, Inc. will work with us to arrange the return of the defective item. Grizzly Industrial, Inc. How to Return or Exchange an Item:
To return an item you need to first obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Please call us at 1-508-675-0381 to obtain your RMA number. Please ship the original package in the original shipping carton. Please do not place stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturer’s package. The RMA number must be clearly written on the outer box. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend you ship via an insured service with a tracking number. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

Abuse of Return Privileges
Our return policy is in place to ensure our customers don’t get stuck with the wrong tool or accessory. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or suspend return privileges for customers who abuse or attempt to violate our return policy through practices including, but not limited to, excessive returns, attempts to return items that are no longer in brand-new condition, etc.
